General Practices
A mix of ringing for DCA members of all abilities starting with plain hunt on 5 and progressing through various methods (doubles, minor and beyond).
This is held on the first Saturday of most months and is the official monthly event of the DCA. No need to register in advance – just turn up! (Details in the monthly newsletter).

Cores Practices
A chance to consolidate covering & treble skills, learning core methods (Plain Bob, Reverse Canterbury and Grandsire doubles) for plain courses and touches. Theory, terminology and plenty of rope time. Normally on Tuesday mornings. Please register in advance by emailing ringingteacherdorset@gmail.com

Surprise Practices
Surprise Practices are for members who can Treble Bob to continue their ringing journey through the Surprise methods such as Cambridge, Beverley, Surfleet, Norwich and London. Also for Surprise Ringers to practice or conduct new methods. These are held on the fourth Saturday of the month for all abilities within this range of ringing.

Ring Something Simple
Have you recently started ringing or ring anything between Rounds and Plain Hunt? If so, these are for you. Lots of fun ‘games’, bell control activities and elements of learning rope sight, alongside ringing up and down. A chance to network with like minded ringers. Trained Ringing Teachers on hand to support. Held on first Saturday morning and fourth Tuesday evening. Please register in advance by emailing ringingteacherdorset@gmail.com
